One of the newest Dota 2 heroes, Void Spirit, was only introduced just over a week ago with the Outlanders update. A melee intelligence hero and Dota 2’s fourth Spirit Brother, he’s a mysterious and capable addition to the game’s roster. However, it looks like he might be a little too capable – developer Valve has rolled out some nerfs for the hero. In a Dota 2 update posted today, Valve has issued five changes to Void Spirit which impact various different abilities. His Aether Remnant damage has been lowered to 80/130/180/230, from 90/150/210/270 previously, and his Dissimilate damage has also been nerfed by a similar margin to 100/180/260/340 from 120/200/280/360. Void Spirit’s Resonant Pulse base shield absorption has been decreased to 40/80/120/160 (previously 50/100/150/200), with this ability’s base damage also reduced: 70/120/170/220 down from 70/130/190/250. In addition, the hero’s Astral Step cast time (the amount of time it takes for the spell to take effect) has been altered to 0.3 where it was 0.2 before.
