Ninja’s Fortnite streams are about to kick up a notch – legendary Star Wars actor Mark Hamill is to join in for one day only this week. The actor, who has played Luke Skywalker since the first Star Wars film in 1977, will join Ninja on Mixer to showcase “brand-new Fortnite content” on Thursday, December 19. There was, of course, a recent Fortnite-Star Wars crossover, in which Stormtroopers appeared in-game. There have also been Star Wars skins and even an exclusive Rise of Skywalker sneak peek in Fortnite of late. It remains unclear, however, whether any of these will feature in Thursday’s stream. Fortnite is no stranger to movie tie-ins and cross-promotion at this point, having run several Avengers- and John Wick-themed events to coincide with the premieres of films in those franchises. These have included special skins and items, as well as entirely new limited-time game modes, including John Wick’s Bounty Mode and the Avengers Thanos LTM.
